 Kitting Out Your Home

UnpackingWe know it can be daunting – and expensive - to move or set up home.

That’s why we make:

  • furniture
  • household electrical items
  • children’s clothing and
  • children’s equipment (buggies, cots, high chairs and so on)

available to those who would benefit from them most – for just £10 to cover our administration costs.  We also offer competitive packages for landlords looking to furnish homes, shaped to your requirements.

All items are cleaned, reconditioned if necessary and safety-checked before we pass them on.

To receive such items, you need to be referred to us by a third party, such as a health visitor, social services, or Citizens Advice Bureau.

(People are referred to us by 140 different agencies in and around Nottingham.)

We also run two charity shops which sell clothing, toys, bric-a-brac and non-essential items of furniture:

8 Kilbourn Street, St Anns, Nottingham NG3 1AA

Opening hours: 9am-12.30pm and 1pm-3.30pm Monday to Saturday

13 Low Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 1DH

Opening hours: 9am-12.30pm and 1pm-3.30pm Monday to Saturday

To find out more about kitting our your home – or to donate furniture or kidstuff, call: FREEPHONE 0800 013 0497, email or write to us (or call in) at: Family First, 174 Derby Road, Nottingham, NG7 1NF.
